The spring is a unique time because it brings warmer weather, perfect for fostering new life.  Yes it is the season that the trees are blooming with cherry blossoms.  Peek into gardens to see  them flourishing with all kinds of beautiful plant life. Are you expecting a little bundle of joy during the spring?  Now is a perfect time to consider a home birth. A home birth is great for mothers, it’s more intimate and an empowered experience giving birth at home.  As an expectant mom, I wanted a home birth years ago and still wish I had pursued it. Meeting mothers during COVID, few are hesitant to enter a hospital unless they are ill. As well, due to COVID, the hospital would limit the amount of loved ones  who can be there to witness the birth of the child.

If you would like to take it a step further, how about a lotus birth?  This type of birth allows the umbilical cord to detach naturally instead of cutting it immediately after birth. This can help the nutrients continue to flow to the baby even after birth and provides health benefits.  Your baby’s first bath is also an important bonding time for mother and baby. After a home birth, a mother can bathe the baby herself one to two days after birth instead of the nurse at the hospital bathing the baby. Be gentle with your baby and only use soaps that have no harsh chemicals and perfumes in them. Our 5th year offering handmade gifts for the growing family!

We started the month with our 5th Year Anniversary with a Friends and Family Sale.  From November 12th to the 16th, you were able to receive 10% off all purchases. New this month is our Baby Shower Shopping Experience.

Now that the weather is getting colder and the leaves are falling, it is a great opportunity to spend time with

Fall is here and that means that if you have a little one, they are probably heading back to school. Whether you choose to send your child to school full-time, keep your child at home for remote learning, or participate in hybrid learning, you are a great parent who is looking to do what is best for your household.

Mon Petit Coeur takes steps as a company to keep your kids safe when returning to school. In Summer 2020 we introduced another accessory namely Face Mask for children due to the COVID 19. First we see the falling leaves, then the cooler temperatures and now we are ready for harvest and holidays.   Nothing like a newborn baby and the children around during the holidays.  It’s harvest time, we are thankful as we count our blessings.  Let’s stay grateful as we anticipate, gatherings with family and friends.
