So many ways to announce that you are going to be a dad!

Confirming pregnancy can be met with mixed feelings to a mom, were you filled with expectation and joy.   Sharing with dad to be can be equally exciting.

Fathers today are becoming more involved in the lives of their families.  Due to social distancing resulting from the COVID-19, many dads are spending more time at home and getting to know their children since everyone is working and attending school at home.  I presume that families are preparing meals together, taking walks in the park, watching a movie or simply playing a game.

It is safe to say that we will see an increase in births later this year due to the COVID-19.  Sharing with that dad-to-be that a baby is on the way can be fun and exciting.  If you are expecting this Father’s Day and want to announce that a “bun in the oven”, we want to share a few favorites that could make the event very special.  Consider the following:

  • Give a gender neutral gift so the dad-to-be can guess
  • Dad-to-be is a sports enthusiast, gift a baby jersey from his favorite team
  • If he loves to travel, consider sharing where you wish to vacation in 2021 as a great kid friendly destination
  • Plan a Zoom meeting to simply catch up with family and friends and have cupcakes with a baby theme
  • Miss the round of promotion at work last year, someone is getting promoted to dada later this year
  • Fourth of July is right around the corner, fireworks are certainly a way to celebrate with the dad-to-be

Let’s take a moment to remember those who we have lost since last Father’s Day.  Let us take time to appreciate all those days around us and to celebrate them in simple ways.  To join in the celebration, enjoy 25% off by using coupon code BESTDAD until June 30, 2020.
